These vintage acrylic cameos are so beautiful!  The relief of the woman's face is detailed and distinct and a large enough size to see her features.  It is set against a faux tortoise brown finish and surrounded by a decorative gold-plated frame.  

These are large 24mm cameos (about 1" long). Very lightweight! 

Gold plated findings - available as leverbacks (shown here), hoops, or clip-ons.
